Sīgāh Modality and the Rooting of the Lebanese Child’s Cultural Identity

تبحث هذه المقالة في بلورة الحيّز المفترَض أن يكون الأهمّ من التّقليد الموسيقيّ الشّعبيّ اللّبنانيّ\الشّاميّ، بغيةَ توظيفه عمليًّا في سياق تربويّ موسيقيّ مدرسيّ في لبنان والمشرق. وهي تركّز على مفهوم الرّصيد النّموذجيّ، كمصداق تربويّ عن البنى الأصليّة لذلك التّقليد، فتشكّل حوله فرضيّة مركّبة، تنطلق من مفهوم المقام في مكوّنَيه المتكاملَين السّلّميّ والصّيغيّ. وهي تقوم أوّلًا على البنى السّلّميّة المهيمنة في التّقليد المدروس، وثانيًا على الصِّيَغ النّغميّة النّموذجيّة الأساسيّة في ذلك التّقليد، وذلك من منطلق نحويّ توليديّ موسيقيّ. وتعتمد هذه المقالة على دراسات إحصائيّة وعلى تحاليل موسيقيّة، لتتمكّن من جعل نغميّة السّيكاه نغميّة محوريّة من المنظورَين النّظاميّ والنّحويّ الموسيقيَّين، وصولًا إلى طرح اعتمادها مدماكًا أساسيًّا في العمليّة التّربويّة الموسيقيّة المدرسيّة في لبنان والمشرق.
Abstract:
This article examines the main part of the Lebanese/Levantine Music Tradition, in order to put it into practice in the music education context in Lebanon and the Levant. It focuses on the concept of the “model corpus”, as an educational proof of the original structures of that tradition, forming an hypothesis which is based on the complex concept of Maqam: as a Zalzalian scale and as a typic melody, with a musical generative grammatical approach. This article is based on statistical studies and musical analysis, in order to make the Sigāh mode as a central issue, and to put its adoption as an essential component in the school musical education process in Lebanon and the Levant.
